An ongoing partnership since 2015 has led to increased engagement, increased growth and stronger performance capacity. In 2015, Länsförsäkringar Göteborg and Bohuslän wanted to achieve a new vision and set a strong strategy for the future. This required extensive structural, business and cultural changes throughout the organisation.

An ongoing partnership until 2026

YesP's mission until 2026 is to help Länsförsäkringar transform into a high-performing organisation characterised by personal responsibility, openness to renewal in working methods and mindset, and a strong belief in the future. The culture should focus on both results and relationships, and be based on openness, joy and good cooperation throughout the organisation.

To achieve this, YesP's consultants support Länsförsäkringar Göteborg and Bohuslän with three main tracks:

How does YesP carry out organisational development?

We started by analysing the corporate culture using a web-based culture survey (Denison Organisational Culture Survey) for all 300 or so employees. We also conducted interviews, which provided the basis for growth objectives and strategy, what cultural changes were needed and how to prioritise efforts.

To achieve a stronger corporate culture, we focused on:

  • implement more efficient working methods
  • increase market share
  • capitalise on a strategic focus
  • integrate growth and development direction
  • create commitment throughout the organisation.

In partnership with management, mainly the CEO and HR manager, YesP has become an important part of the company's internal leadership forums and big meetings. The new, improved corporate culture has been welded to the growth targets, and in the leadership forums, managers have been trained to drive the culture in the right direction. All leaders have also participated in leadership development and received individual coaching.

During the work, we have also carried out cultural measurements and pulse measurements to be able to adapt interventions to the current situation and needs.


Successful outcome and positive impact

We are pleased that Länsförsäkringar Gothenburg and Bohuslän has reported increased capacity for action through co-operation, stronger capacity for renewal and change management - and increased joint focus on the strategy going forward. We also see that the joint leadership in the company today leads the business at a high structural and cultural level.

The results of YesP's latest benchmark survey revealed several other advances in corporate culture. The company now has a higher performance capacity than at the start of the mission in 2015. Five key monitoring targets have been communicated to all staff, including health and well-being targets. All of the organisation's monitoring targets, and in particular all growth targets, have been met and exceeded.
